• What is the difference between Personal Care/Home Care services and skilled nursing services? 

  Personal Care/Home Care services are provided by Nursing Aides/Personal Care Aides; under the supervision of a registered nurse. The Aide performs tasks according to the plan of care designed by the client and the agency's registered nurse. The Plan of Care is designed to assist the client with their personal care which includes ADLs (activities of daily living). While Skilled nursing services are carried out by a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse and may include: 

  • Client assessments 

  • Vital signs monitoring 

  • Diabetic teaching and management 

  • Medication administration and management 

  • Injections 

  • Respiratory care 

  • Rehabilitation 

  • Wound care 

  • Ostomy care 

  • Catheter care 

  • Client and family teaching

• What qualifications do your Home/Personal care Aides have?

  All employees are insured and they must undergo state and federal screening processes to include, but not limited to: a full criminal background check, and pass an intensive interview process, reference checks, professional license verification, and skill evaluation.

• Who pays for my services?

  In most cases, 100% of North Carolina Home Care Services are covered by Medicaid, directly accepted by "Absolutely Divine". We also accept Medicaid waiver programs such as Community Alternative Program (CAP) as well as long term insurance, private insurance, and private payments (discounted as a convenience to you).
